Mixed Feelings About This Hotel

My room smelled weird, like someone sprayed too much air freshener to hide something worse. The breakfast area was too small for the crowd. I had to wait for a table. The shower stall also felt cramped, and I struggled to keep water from getting everywhere. Not the best experience, I must say.

Fantastic location for exploring the city!

The location was Very nice. I could easily walk to all attractions and return to my room to drop off bags. The staff was always friendly and ready to assist (I really appreciate that!). The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety, too. I was on the fourth floor after upgrade.

The room decor was a little bit dated, though everything was perfectly clean. The lighting in the bathroom could be brighter (for makeup).

The room included a comfortable double bed, a small work desk, and a flatscreen TV. There was also a decent-sized wardrobe for storing clothes, and the bathroom featured complimentary toiletries. The room had blackout curtains, so I slept well.

The staff provided helpful service at all times. I left my bags in the lockers as I arrived before check-in. The hotel stands near the port. A convenience store is next to the hotel entry.

My room faced the square, there were noise issues late at night, disruptive. The soundproofing could be better.

The room was spacious. I had a comfortable bed, and there were plenty of channels on the television. The room had a great view of the city from the seventh floor.

The in-house breakfast included a wide variety. I found the fresh bread particularly good. The staff consistently replenished the buffet. It was a big plus to have breakfast included.

The hotel's location is central. Bars, shops and the harbour are within easy walking distance. The main excursion pick-up points are also a short walk away. It is a great base to explore the city.
